We're pleased to announce that the Season 4 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Playoffs will begin on Wednesday, April 30th. We'll be releasing the Playoff brackets for each division on Friday, April 25th after the scores of all remaining makeup matches have been reported. With that said, any teams with pending matches must have their scores reported by 11:59 PM CDT on Thursday, April 24th. Matches that have not been reported as completed by this date, will risk being reported as double forfeit losses.
A few quick notes on some postseason rule changes that you may not be familar with...
- The regular season standings are determined using CEVO's proprietary CPI ranking system. You can read more about the CPI HERE.
- For the most part, the match scheduling process will remain the same as the regular season, but match extensions beyond the deadline date listed on the brackets will not be permitted.
- During the postseason, teams will have 2 hours from the time the match score is reported to file an official dispute. Disputes will no longer be accepted after the 2 hour window has expired.
- All matches will be set with a default time of 8 PM CDT, but teams are encouraged to work together to find a time that works for both teams.
From all of us at CEVO, we sincerely hope you had a good time participating in our event and we'd like to wish the best of luck to all of the teams who will be participating in the s4 Playoffs, and to those of you who didn't make the cut this season, we look forward to seeing you again next season and/or in any of our off-season tournaments.

PERMANENT ROSTER LOCK INFORMATION:
This is a quick reminder that as of Friday, April 11th at 11:59 PM CDT all team rosters in each skill division were permanently locked. During the Playoffs there will be ABSOLUTELY NO roster changes permitted for any team, for any reason.
We enforce the permanent roster lock towards the end of each season to prevent teams from stacking up on the talent from teams that did not qualifiy for the playoffs and to encourage teams to remain together for duration of the season.
PRIZE CLAIM POLICY:
All roster members from each winning team must download, complete, and return a CEVO Earnings Form to accounting@cevo.com to be eligible for payment. Completed forms will only be accepted via email and players may begin sending in their earnings forms as soon as they have secured a position in the playoff brackets that guarantees a prize.
Every single player on the roster will receive an equal share of the team's prize money, regardless of whether or not they participated in any matches, and only players who have submitted their earnings forms within 30 days of their final match will be paid out. Players who wish to forfeit their share of the money to the rest of their team can email accounting@cevo.com to make a request. All prize claims will be processed by CEVO within 60 days of the final match in the event.
Season 5 Team Registration
We've been getting plenty of questions about when our next season will open for registration and while its too early to announce many of our Season 5 details, teams can expect team registration to open sometime around late May/early June.
