Cineplex WorldGaming Canadian Championship Series, gives gamers from across Canada & US an opportunity to put their skills to the test in some of the world’s most popular competitive titles! We’re excited to present our latest esports tournament: Counter Strike: Global Offensive Canadian Championship Series.

Our tournaments take the stage online and nationwide, featuring a variety of gamers from underdogs to the world’s most talented players - so gear-up for a real fight in order to be crowned the Ultimate Champion! Teams of five will compete across three Stages, including: Online Qualifiers, Regional Finals, and National Finals in Toronto in order to find our hard-fought winners!

With over $90,000 in total cash and swag available to be won, including a trip to Toronto for all Finalists - sign up now to fight for glory and spread the word!

Go to WorldGaming to create an account. If you are already a member, please login. Top-up your balance to reach $25.00 CAD ($18.75 USD) or more, then proceed to Step 2.

* WorldGaming website uses United States dollars (USD) as its currency. All online entry fees will be paid in USD at an exchange rate of $1.00 CAD = $0.75 USD. Louisiana and Montana residents: Please contact WorldGaming prior to depositing.

Register your team for your preferred Online Qualifier tournament on WorldGaming by clicking HERE, and then selecting your preferred region/date from the options listed. In order to compete for your chance to win the $25,000 grand prize, a $25.00 CAD ($18.75 USD) Team Registration Fee will apply to all tournament entries.

Your first mission is to report to your Team Captain to confirm Step 1 & Step 2 status! Once affirmative, proceed to below.

Once your team captain has set up the team per Step 1 and Step 2 above, create a CEVO account, or login to an existing CEVO account, and then visit CEVO Canadian Championship Series home page to register for the corresponding online tournament. For example, if you register for the August 12th tournament in Toronto on WorldGaming website, you should register for the same August 12th tournament in Toronto on CEVO.

Step 4
Download and install CEVO CS:GO Desktop client. All tournament gameplay will be played through the CEVO CS:GO Desktop client.

NOTE: Teams should be aware that this tournament schedule is tentative and teams should be prepared to play matches in a rush style back-to-back format. This may involve starting a match prior to the times listed above. With that said, due to strict time constraints, reschedules will not be permitted.

DISCLAIMER: EACH TEAM MUST PAY $25.00 CAD PER ONLINE TOURNAMENT TO COMPETE FOR A PRIZE. Registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. The tournament is open to legal residents of Canada or the continental United States (excluding Arizona, Maryland, Tennessee and New Jersey), who are over the age of 17. Team of five (5) players required to participate. All team members must have the following prior to the start of the tournament participate: WorldGaming, CEVO, and Steam accounts; CEVO CS:GO Desktop client; and a valid Counter-Strike: Global Offensive game license. There is a fee associated with the game license, charged by Steam. Registration for the Online Qualifiers ends September 3, 2017 at 2:59 PM ET. Each team member must be present at the Regional Finals and Nationals Finals, otherwise the team is disqualified. Entrants are responsible for transportation to and from the Regional Finals. Travel may be provided to the entrants that advance to the National Finals at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
